![]() We also know that, eventually, we will have to face the Aeon of Destruction. We leave the planet with a closed chapter and can move on. The hoops we have to jump through are justified as each conflict we resolve puts us one step closer to the stellaron. We go to Jarillo and sure, we solve a lot of internal conflicts to get there, we ultimately stop the stellaron influence from the cycle that has been plaguing Jarillo for X amount of years. I soft-quit Genshin because I have 0 interest in the story unless Dain is involved because I know ultimately, his involvement leads to our characters end-goal to be reunited with our sibling. I feel like our character should have just abandoned our adventure to meet each Archon and instead joined Dain on whatever the heck he is doing ever since we encountered our sibling for the first time. But by doing so, we end up needing to solve that region's internal conflict before our character suddenly and abruptly asks the Archon 'Have you seen my sibling?' Only to get a 'lol no.' And our response is 'Drats! Off to the next Archon'. We discover the best lead is to go after each Archon and ask questions. We start with a clear objective: Find our sibling. I apologize for comparing HSR to Genshin because I know they are developed by two entirely different teams despite them both being under Hoyo, but I really feel like Genshin's story has been 'meh' since 1.0. tl dr, compared to Genshin, our main objective in HSR feels way more coordinated and personal. Started playing because of the turn-base gameplay, staying cause the story feels organic so far.
